From Coldwell Banker Coastal Rivers Realty

Gerri McKinley and Maria Wilson, owners of Coldwell Banker Coastal Rivers Realty and Coastal Rivers Property Management, are pleased to announce that Brenda Jackson has recently joined the Coastal Rivers team as accounting administrator. She will be managing overall corporate accounting for Coldwell Banker Coastal Rivers’ Beaufort and Pitt county offices and Coastal Rivers Property Management.

Brenda brings a diverse skill set to the organization from her 30 years of experience as a professional income tax consultant and 19 years as a public accountant. She has also held numerous licenses over the years including Series 6 and 63 Securities Licenses and a North Carolina real estate license. While not currently licensed, the instruction and training gained in obtaining the licenses provide a wide and valuable knowledge base. Brenda has an extensive knowledge of Quickbooks and has earned the designation of Quickbooks Pro Advisor.

Brenda comes to Coastal Rivers after serving 11 years as a business manager for a prominent local organization and says, “I’m accustomed to a fast-paced environment where I’m required to multi-task, so working in such a busy real estate company will be a welcome challenge and will give me an opportunity to use all of the skills I’ve acquired throughout my career. I look forward to being an integral part of the Coastal Rivers team.” According to co-owner Gerri McKinley, “I’ve known Brenda as a business colleague and trusted friend for over 40 years. As our company has continued to grow, we needed someone who had the unique combination of accounting, organizational and people skills that Brenda possesses; her previous real estate experience is, of course, a welcome bonus, too. We are thrilled that she has joined the company.”

Each Coldwell Banker is independently owned and operated.
