The Columbia Historic District Commission has scheduled a review of a request by Tienda Mexicana Peniel #2 to paint the exterior of the restaurant at 201B Main Street.
Owners Ruby Pascaico and Oscar Garcia also are asking permission to fly a “banana” banner from the rooftop.
Commission members, who also double as the town’s planning board, will hear updates about the dormant Village at Columbia subdivision and Vision 20/20, the planning document that guided local governmental development in the past decade.
The meeting will be at 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 25, in the Municipal Building at 103 Main Street. The meeting is open to the public.
Commission/board members are Janet Walker, chairman, Raymond Etheridge, Billie Ray Hill, James McClees, and Barbara J. Spencer.
