Maria Wilson and Gerri McKinley, owners of Coldwell Banker Coastal Rivers Realty, are excited to welcome Jennifer Schaffer to their growing team of real estate professionals. A resident of the Bath/Belhaven area, Jennifer will be affiliated primarily with the Beaufort County office located in Washington.

“Growing up as a Navy Brat and then marrying a U.S. Marine (never say never) has provided me with the experience of being a professional mover. During my life, I have lived in many different states and regions of our country from coast to coast. Of all of the many places we have lived, the salty air and relaxed lifestyle of coastal Carolina feels most like home to us. In 2016, we jumped at the chance to ‘come home’ to eastern Carolina after spending 13 years in central Carolina’s Triad region. My husband, Tony, retired from the Marine Corps out of Camp Lejeune in 2005, so I am very familiar with the landscape and culture Down East. Tony now works with local disabled veterans in the surrounding area.  We always planned to come back during our retirement years and were blessed to be able to make that dream a reality sooner and start our new life on the coast,” Schaffer said. “We have been married for 26 years and have two beautiful daughters, Sierra and Shelby. I have spent the last 25 years working as a registered nurse, and have a vast experience working in many different areas of the field. Real estate has always been interesting to me, and I have enjoyed the many personal experiences buying and selling our own homes. These life experiences have taught me flexibility, hard work and perseverance. I will continue to build upon this personal experience to benefit my clients in all of their home buying and selling needs. I can be of tremendous assistance to my clients who are relocating to beautiful Beaufort County and the surrounding counties of eastern Carolina. It has been very exciting to embark on yet another journey with Coldwell Banker Coastal Rivers Realty!”
