Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Sparkle

Sparkling glacial blue eyes that will take your breath away and a luxurious coat of snow white with gray/black accents, this Siberian husky mix is a beautiful girl. Georgie and Porgie

Friendly, playful, charming and at 6 weeks old, these kittens just want love, attention and quality play time. The shelter lists both kittens as males. Adorable American shorthair kittens, Georgie is a tabby with his coat of pale orange and darker orange stripes, and
