WINNERS: The Beaufort County Ed. Tech Center received $1,000 for winning the Washington-Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce’s Community Trivia Bee, sponsored by Edward Jones-Roy Parker. This money will be used for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports incentives for their students. PBIS is a program supported by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction to promote and maximize academic and behavioral success. It is a school-wide strategy for helping all students achieve important social and learning goals.
