Crime stoppers seeks help on car break-ins

This week, Beaufort County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help in solving a rash of break-ins in the Washington area. From Oct. 16 through Nov. 11, the following neighborhoods have been hit with instances of motor vehicle breaking and entering: Tranters Creek, Rosedale and Sherwood Forrest. All of these neighborhoods are directly off of Hwy 264. The time frame for theses break-ins has been between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. All of the vehicles were unlocked in the owner’s driveways at their residences. Several items have been taken to include firearms, computers, electronic devices and money. If you have any information on this crime or any other crimes, please call Crime Stoppers at 252-974-6400.
