Put some jingle in your step and stroll downtown Washington on Thursday, Dec. 6, to mingle with store owners and other holiday shoppers at the second-annual Jingle & Mingle.

Downtown  merchants are issuing an invitation to the public to stop in for special discounts, door prizes, sales, refreshments and more from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sign up for the Jingle & Mingle drawing at any participating store, and one lucky winner will walk away with a grand prize gift basket stocked with Christmas goodies from downtown stores and galleries.

Thirty businesses have signed on for this year’s Jingle & Mingle: Cottage Junkies, The Graceful Goose, Art on Market/Kay Woolard Studio, The Wine Crate, Down on Mainstreet, Nauti Life, The Purple Plume, Stewart’s Jewelry Store, River Walk Gallery and Arts Center, The Southern Nest, Art Tyndall Gallery, The River Girl Antiques, Secret Garden Gallery & Boutique, Contemporary Art Exchange, Southern Grace Boutique, Patty Cakes, Copper Canyon Wellness Center, The Bank Bistro, Grub Brothers Eatery, Diversion Escape Rooms, A Mess of a Pop-Up Shop, Arts of the Pamlico, Big Bargain Furniture, Lady J Unique Boutique, Little Shoppes, South Market Antiques, Purser’s Chest, Ruth’s House Antiques, Wine & Words … & Gourmet and Lemonade Art Gallery.
