Mrs. Evelyn Carter Browne, of 310 W. 16th St. Washington, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2018, at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville. A funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, at Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, Washington. The interment will be at the Oakdale Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at 310 W. 16th St., Washington. Arrangements are by New Beginning Funeral Services and Cremation, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
