Leslie “Les” Sutorius

Mr. Leslie “Les” Stewart Sutorius, age 80, a resident of Cypress Landing, Chocowinity, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, at Vidant Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, at the Chocowinity United Methodist Church in Chocowinity. The family will receive friends following the service on Sunday at the church.
Mr. Sutorius was born Nov. 3, 1938, son of the late Seymour Sutorius and Grace Stewart Sutorius. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. On March 23, 2002, he married the former Cindy Littleton, who survives. Mr. Sutorius loved music and playing the trumpet. He shared his musical talents at the Annual Memorial Service and with many families served by Paul Funeral Home. He was a member of Chocowinity United Methodist Church, the church choir and Meals on Wheels.
In addition to his wife, Cindy, of the home, he is survived by his sons, Gregory Sutorius and wife Karen, of Chatham, New Jersey, and Peter Sutorius and wife Nicole, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; his grandsons, Roman and Nathan Sutorius; stepdaughters, Emily Horner and Sara Hope; and his brother, Arthur Sutorius.
