Requests for more information with regard to the animals appearing in Pets of the Week may be directed to shelter staff in person at the shelter during business hours or by emailing animal.control@co.beaufort.nc.us — always use the animal’s ID number.
Please note, the shelter is closed on the first Wednesday of each month for cleaning and maintenance.
Frankie
This handsome, large, American shorthair swirl tabby boy is all decked out in a spectacular coat of buff, gray and broad ebony stripes. His huge, light-green eyes are showstoppers and heart-warmers, and at 2 years old, Frankie is a fantastic cat with a friendly, calm and gentle nature. He will be a welcome addition in a variety of good forever, loving, home settings. Once there, he will blossom into a wonderful pet and companion. Visit Frankie, ID No. 0068, and see for yourself what wonderful cat he is. He’s available at the shelter.
Forrest
Friendly and loving — that’s Forrest. At approximately 4 years old, this calm and gentle, large, tan and white male, hound mix is a real sweetheart. He’s very much in need of owner(s) who will love him, give him attention and care, feed him good, nutritious food, provide lots of exercise in a fenced area or on a leash and obedience training so he knows what’s expected of him. Forrest deserves a good, loving forever home where he will be a faithful companion and pet. Come spend a little time with Forrest, ID No. 0058, and see for yourself what a wonderful dog he is. He’s available at the shelter.
