Elementary School teacher scores in top 25-percent in NC reading scores

Chrissy Biggs, Tyrrell Elementary School fourth grade teacher, was recently given a “shout out” by Superintendent Oliver Holley for being in the top 25% in North Carolina for third grade reading scores last school year when she taught in Washington County. He also extended Shout Outs to Shelia Cumiskey for her assistance and dedication to the district’s Athletic Department and to Carolyn Simmons and Linda Leasure in the Finance Department.
