Mrs. Olive Gray Alligood Deans, age 94, a resident of Washington, died Sunday, March 10, 2019, at her home.

Private services will be held.

Mrs. Deans was born in Beaufort County on May 18, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Ivey Albert Alligood and Dora Jefferson Alligood. Mrs. Deans was a retired sales clerk with Belk’s in Washington and Greenville. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Washington. In her spare time, Mrs. Deans enjoyed collection antiques.

Mrs. Deans was married to William “Bill” Deans, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Dean is survived by a brother, Lane Alligood, of Washington, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Deans was preceded in death by three sisters, Hattie Woolard, Elsie Bennett and Evelyn Alligood.
