Mrs. Laurie Ann Perry Cullop, age 63, a resident of Washington, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019, at Vidant Inpatient Hospice. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at First Christian Church and will be officiated by Dr. Robert Cayton.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Mrs. Cullop was born in Beaufort County on March 27, 1956, to Herbert and Lois Cutler Perry who survive. She was a 1974 graduate of Pamlico Community School and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina. On June 20, 1981, she married Charles P. “Pete” Cullop Jr., who survives. Mrs. Cullop was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Charles P. “Pete” Cullop Jr., of the home; two sons, Thomas Cullop and wife Michele, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Stephen Cullop, of Greenville; grandchildren, Leah, Madison, Nathaniel; father and mother, Herbert and Lois Cutler Perry, of Washington; sister, Patricia Perry Stowe and husband Lentz, of Washington; brother, Herbert A. Perry Jr. and wife Sandra, of Washington; sister-in-fact, Becky Cullop Staley, of Milford, Ohio; father and mother-in-law, Dr. Charles and Mary Cullop, of Milford, Ohio; sister-in-law, Lynda Cullop Lawrence, of Milford, Ohio; nieces, Haley Stowe, Erin Stowe, Kelly Brady and husband Adam; nephew, Matthew Perry and wife Georgia; special cousin, Doug Cutler; and faithful puppies, Henry and Lucy.

The family would like to thank the staffs of Vidant ICU, Vidant Palliative Care and Vidant Hospice House for their kindness and care.
