Michael Peter Buzzeo, III, age 25, a resident of 107 Charles Court, Chocowinity, died Tuesday, April 23, 2019.

A funeral service will be held next week in New York.

Michael was born in New York on Jan. 20, 1994, son of Michael Peter Buzzeo, II and Michelle Nelson Buzzeo. He attended St. Peter’s and was a 2012 graduate of Rose High School and received an associate degree in horticulture from Pitt County Community College. His plans were to join the Coast Guard in September.

“Michael was very athletic, very active, had the biggest heart in the world, a dear friend, great son and grandson. He will be missed by all. This family and father miss him so much.”

Michael was of the Catholic faith.

Michael is survived by the Buzzeo family, friends and a broken-hearted father.
