Rosalie Parisher Sawyer, age 97, formerly of Chesapeake, Virginia, died April 16, 2019, at Tifton Health and Rehab. Rosalie was born April 27, 1921, in Gumneck, to the late Roland Lee and Annie Mae Jones Parisher. Survivors include her children, Linda Sorensen, Pennie Bass, Sylvia (Terry) Randall and Debbie Rooks; one sister, Julia Parisher; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
