Donald Chase Vosburgh

Mr. Donald Chase Vosburgh, age 50, a resident of 143 Honey Pod Farm Road, Washington, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019, at his home.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Pamlico Memorial Gardens and will be conducted by Rev. Ken Hall.

Don was born in Beaufort County on Dec. 26, 1968, to the late James Richard Vosburgh and Mary Louise Howell Vosburgh who survives. In 1987, he graduated from Washington High School. He then went on to East Carolina University School of Business and Marketing and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business and an ASU Teacher’s Certificate.

On May 21, 2005, he married Kristin Meredith Britsch. Don was an avid traveler who enjoyed music, gardening and hunting. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a lover of mother earth. Don was a proud member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 99 and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He volunteered at Conscious Alliance and Habitat for Humanity.

Survivors include his wife, Kristin M. Britsch; his mother, Louise Howell Vosburgh; brother, Richard Vosburgh and wife Alicia Vosburgh; a niece, Veronica Elisio; nephews, Zack Elisio, Richard Beatly, Edward Beatly, Brant Vosburgh, Sawyer Vosburgh; a great-niece, Arianna Elisio; his pets, Sunshine, Tomeka and Peggy-o.

He is preceded in death by his pets, Cassidy and Liza.
