Mr. Billy Wayne Rouse, age 58, a resident of Market Street Extension, Washington, died Sunday, May 5, 2019, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2019, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington.

Mr. Rouse was born in Beaufort County on Dec. 14, 1960. He was the son of George Frankie Rouse and the late Hattie Mills Rouse. Mr. Rouse graduated from Washington High School. He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for Commercial Truck and Equipment Service. In his spare time, Mr. Rouse enjoyed riding motorcycles.

Mr. Rouse is survived by his son, Daniel Rouse, and his wife, Emily, of Washington; daughter, Jodie Rouse, of Washington; grandson, Dawson Rouse, of Washington; father, George Frankie Rouse, of Washington; brother, Robert Rouse and wife Tammy, of Raleigh; and the mother of his children, Sherry Tyson, of Washington.

Mr. Rouse was preceded in death by his mother, Hattie Mills Rouse, and his daughter, Sandy Rouse.
