The annual Memorial Day service in Columbia will be held  at 8 a.m., Sunday, May 26, in Madge L. VanHorne Auditorium, sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Guest speaker will be James Cahoon, mayor of Columbia, armed forces veteran, and brother of Glynn T. Cahoon, in whose memory the local VFW post is named.

The public is invited to attend and participate in this tribute to the men and women who gave their lives for America’s freedoms.
