The Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility will be closed May 25–27 in observance of Memorial Day.

Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, located at 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note, the shelter is closed on the first Wednesday of each month for cleaning and maintenance.

 

Fester

Already neutered, with his ear tipped to prove it, Fester is ready to leave after his reduced fee is paid. Handsome, friendly, approximately 2 years old and medium-size, this fellow wears an American shorthair jet-black coat and has gorgeous, big eyes. Sansa

Gorgeous in her brown and black brindle coat with white accents, Sansa, a Boxer mix, is friendly, alert and smart. Approximately 4 years old, this large girl is calm, quiet and will do best with an active family with owner(s) willing to give her their love, attention, exercise in a fenced area or on a leash, include her in their outings, obedience training and a good forever home.
