CROSSING STATE LINES: The Fox Theatre Institute in Atlanta, Georgia, awarded a $50,000 grant to Arts of the Pamlico, contributing to the funds to fix the aging infrastructure of the early 20th-century theater. With the roof in critical need of replacement, Fox representatives for the first time awarded a grant outside of the state of Georgia, recognizing the need to preserve one of the few intact vaudeville theaters in the U.S. Monday, Arts of the Pamlico board members past and present joined the Fox team to accept the grant. Outside the theater, the marquee spelled out the appreciation AOP supporters feel for the Fox Theatre grant.
