While the spotlight will be focused in full on the county’s high school graduates next weekend, the students, teachers and parents of Care-O-World celebrated some of the area’s youngest scholars on Tuesday during a graduation ceremony at the Turnage Theatre.
Pre-K students from the early learning center sang, danced and performed for a full house at the theatre. Waving to proud parents and audience members, the little ones will now advance to kindergarten classes throughout the county, putting the lessons they learned at Care-O-World to good use.
The graduation followed a celebratory picnic at Havens Garden the previous Friday. For more information about Care-O-World and the services the learning center provides, visit www.careoworld.org.
