The Richland Seniors spent their June 4 monthly meeting on a day trip for a Trolley Tour of New Bern and lunch at Bakers Kitchen.
The trolley tour was very interesting. Our guide did an outstanding job of telling us the stories of the homes and especially the cemetery. What an interesting time in history and beautiful homes, with some under restoration from last year’s storms. There’s still a lot of construction going on in New Bern. Our lunch at Bakers Kitchen was ready when we arrived and was delicious.
We had a wonderful day of fun and fellowship.
Our regular meeting will be on July 2, with business as usual.
