Tannis Medfred Elks, a resident of 10002 U.S. Highway 17 South, Vanceboro, died Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2019, at Vanceboro Free Will Holiness Church, officiated by Pastor Billy Hacker. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 3 p.m. until the service hour. A private interment will be held at Pamlico Memorial Gardens.
