With backpacks full and big smiles on their faces, students throughout Beaufort County set out for another year of fun and learning this week. From pre-k students to high school seniors, parents across the county snapped scrapbook-worthy photos on the first day of school, preserving memories that will last a lifetime. For each child, the coming school year holds something exciting, whether it is learning about a favorite subject, meeting a new teacher or simply spending time with friends. This week, a number of local parents shared back-to-school photos, and a little bit about what their children were excited to learn this year.
