From Hyde County Schools

Both Hyde County Schools campuses, Mattamuskeet and Ocracoke, will be closed for students and staff tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 4 and remain closed for the rest of this week. The bus to Beaufort County Community College will not be providing this service. If that college campus is open, these students need to make their own transportation arrangements to get there and back, if safe to do so. All students taking college classes are expected to contact their professors to make them aware of our weather-related closure if they miss class and request alternate assignments.
