Two arrested in vape shop robbery, police seeking third suspect

The Washington Police Department has made two arrests in the robbery of the Expressway Tobacco and Vape shop that occurred Monday, according to a press release from the department.

Randy Glaspie, 33, of Washington, was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of common law robbery and one count of attempted common law robbery. He was taken to the Beaufort County Detention Center where he was placed under a $15,000 bond.

Shawn Bryant, 34, of Washington, was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of common law robbery, one count of attempted common law robbery, and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery. He was taken to the Beaufort County Detention Center where he was placed under a $25,000 bond.

The Washington Police Department is also looking for 40-year-old Ashley Wilson, of Washington, in connection with this case. He has active warrants for two counts of common law robbery, one count of attempted common law robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery.

“They all conspired to rob the vape shop,” said Washington Police and Fire Services Director Stacy Drakeford. “When the robbery took place, all of them that conspired to commit the robbery can be charged.”
