Beaufort County Schools Superintendent Don Phipps accepts a check for $2,000 from Washington Noon Rotary Club President Jerry Evans for the Backpack for Kids Fund. The money will be used to purchase food for Beaufort County students who do not have ample food during weekends. The proceeds came from the Washington Noon Rotary Club’s Reverse Raffle that was held at the Washington Civic Center.
