SWAN QUARTER — Christmas in the Quarter will be held on Saturday at the Swan Quarter Courthouse. The community is invited to join in an evening of festive fun. A Christmas parade will commence around the courthouse at 5 p.m., with parade lineup starting at 4 p.m. at the bus garage. The best views of the parade are from the courthouse grounds, fire department, in front of Mattie Arts, Ryan’s Garage and the county parking lot.

Following the parade there will be bounce house fun, a Santa writing station, a reindeer food station, yummy s’mores and music by Tommy Hutcherson. The firehouse will be serving hotdogs and a drink or hot chocolate beginning at 5 p.m.

Funnel cakes will be sold to raise money for the Courthouse Bell Project.

Vendors will be set up inside the fire department and Mattie Arts will be open with tons of goodies. Prizes will be awarded for the best-decorated floats and for the ugliest Christmas sweater.
