Delphine Shackleford-Smith, 60, of 1619 Pannell St.., Houston, Texas, formerly of Kinston, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019, at Christis St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas. A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019, at New Christian Fellowship Center, “Browntown.” Burial will follow in the Grant Memorial Cemetery.
