Margaret Manning Hardison, 92, of Williamston, passed away at Ridgewood Manor in Washington on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2020. She was born on Jan. 10, 1928 to the late Herbert Manning and Mary Frances Whitley.

Margaret was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. She and her late husband Robert Stancil Hardison, Sr. owned and operated Hardison Store in Farm Life.

Margaret is survived by two sons: Robert Stancil (Stan) Hardison Jr. and wife Robin, Perry Cullen Hardison and wife Claudia, her sister Melba Hardison and her grandchildren, Logan Hardison of Williamston, Lucas Hardison and wife Jennifer of Orlando, Florida and Hannah Margaret Hardison of Williamston.

There will be a visitation at Piney Grove Baptist Church on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020 from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be on Friday, Jan. 31, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Tice Cemetery. Condolences can be made at www.biggsfuneral.com.
