Mrs. Lillie Mae Simmons-Wilkins, age 80, a resident of 421 Jefferson St., Plymouth, died Thursday, July 7, 2011. A viewing will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight at Puckett-Purkett Memorial Chapel, 300 W. Buncombe St., Roper. A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday at Temple of Christ Church, 827 Wilson St., Plymouth, with Elder Elmer Cooper Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the family cemetery, Roper. Arrangements are by Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service Inc., Roper.
