On March 12 the trial of Bryce Rose on one count of first-degree murder, was continued to the November 2 session of Tyrrell County Superior Court.

Rose, 17, is charged in the shooting death of his father, Hank Rose Jr., in Gum Neck last May 30.

He remains in custody. His bond was set at $500,000 last June.
