Deacon Jimmie Rogers Smith, 81, of 187 Queens Drive, Greenville, died Thursday, March 5, 2020. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 28, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Don Brown Funeral Home, 497 Second St., Ayden. Burial will follow in Crandol family cemetery in Pactolus. Viewing will be held Friday, March 27, 2020, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Due to COVID-19, the governor has asked that all gatherings be limited to 50 people.
