Beaufort County Schools has announced five additional sites where local kids can receive meals while schools remain closed.
Each child can receive a hot lunch and a shelf-stable breakfast from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m., served in a drive-thru setting. Parents and family members may pick up these meals for their students, whether or not the students are with them. The school system will just need the names of the students receiving the meals.
