Doris Magdalene Bowen Gurganus, 85, of U.S. Highway 64, Williamston, died Thursday, April 16, 2020, at Roanoke River Nursing and Rehab. Center. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 18, 2020, at 3:30 p.m. at the Everetts Baptist Church, with Rev. Billy Crabtree and Rev. Joshua Christmas officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., prior to the service. The family request that anyone planning to attend the service come between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m..  Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home of Williamston.
