Paul Ervin Proctor, 88, of Shallotte passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020 at SECU Hospice of Brunswick.

Mr. Proctor was born February 8, 1932 in Portsmouth, Virginia, son of the late Reed and Eunice Proctor. He was a veteran of the United States Army and an avid outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed fly fishing and hunting. Mr. Proctor was a generous man who found joy in helping others, whether it be lending a hand with a building project or helping a friend in their time of need.

Survivors include his children, Virgie Tiesing of Shallotte, Lisa Rowe of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Denny Skiles of Pawleys Island, South Carolina; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
