Tyrrell building inspector Joie Spencer reported recently that he had issued eight buildings permits in the first nine months of the fiscal year.

That compares with 14 such permits issued in the 2019 fiscal year.

Spencer stated that one stick-built permit was issued, two modulars, and five mobile home permits. No commercial construction requests were made.

In the July 2019-Mar 2020 period, Spencer also issued 18 electric upgrade permits, 14 mechanical, 33 for additions to existing structures, three for repairs, nine for plumbing improvements, six for demolition, one for moving, and two for safety purposes.
