Mr. Mark Anthony Cooper, 59, of Belhaven, passed away at his home on Sunday, May 3, 2020.

A memorial service will be held at West Belhaven Church of Christ on Thursday, May 7, 2020, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Mr. Cooper was born in Beaufort County on April 26, 1961, son of Thelma Cox Cooper and the late Julius Cooper. He is survived by his children, Jana Cooper Van Essendelft and Mark Anthony Cooper II, of Beaufort County, Stacie Cooper, of Raleigh, and his granddaughter, Peyton Rae Cooper, who he loved so much.

Mr. Cooper leaves behind brothers Reid Cooper, Vann Cooper, Gerry Cooper, Terry Cooper and Glenn Cooper; sisters, Dianne Marslender, Debbie Steadman and Gail Marks; as well as several nieces and nephews.
