Leave being blue to the birds. This beautiful Indigo Bunting (Passerine cyanea) was recently seen on Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge. They feed on insects, seeds, berries and buds. The wide variety of diet for the Indigo Bunting ranges from beetles, spiders, caterpillars, grasshoppers and cicadas to seeds from strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, dandelions and much more.
