Mary M. Kowalski 82, of Plymouth, died, Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Kowalski was born in Richwood, West Virginia, on Sept. 24, 1937, to the late Forest and Ethel Tawney McCombs. She was married to Thomas Frank Kowalski, who preceded her in death.
She was a member of the former Riverside Baptist Church. During her early years, she provided in-home childcare services where she loved, cared for and reared many children.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Hillside Memorial Gardens in Plymouth, officiated by Pastor Eric Hill Jr.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service and at other times at the residence.
She is survived by one son, David Kowalski, of Chocowinity; and two daughters, Rebecca K. Williams and husband Don, of Plymouth, and Karen K. Moore, of Chocowinity; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Billy McCombs, of Jamesville.
In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by four brothers: Edmund McCombs, Sidney McCombs, Gene McCombs, John McCombs; and two sisters, Barbara M. Walker and Lois McCombs.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Mrs. Rhonda Adams for her unconditional, loving care during our time of need.
