Local schools share reopening plans

Across Beaufort and Hyde counties, most local students will return to school starting next week, in some form or fashion. Students at both Beaufort County Schools and Hyde County Schools will begin the semester with varying terms of remote learning, while three local Christian schools and Washington Montessori Public Charter School, meanwhile, plan on starting school with students in the classroom. In each case, school administrators have spent recent months planning and preparing for students to resume learning, either online or in the classroom.
