Mrs. Verlie Crandell Swindell, 79, a resident of 794 Cedar Village Road, Belhaven, died Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Pungo District Hospital. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cornerstone Tabernacle Outreach Church. Visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the chapel and other times at the home.
