With COVID-19 cases continuing to rise across North Carolina, Arts of the Pamlico has produced two digital performances to help celebrate the holiday season while staying safe at home.
A reading of “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas,” performed by local real estate agent Scott Campbell, was produced by Roland Wyman for Arts of the Pamlico. The stage at the Turnage Theatre was decorated with festive colors for the occasion and Campbell dressed up in a set of pajamas for the event.
“Christmases Gone Wrong” was performed by Arts of the Pamlico’s Bubblegum and the Turnage Teen’s Theatre and written by Rachel Isaac and Zach Sutton, with Isaac and Taylor Evans serving as the directors. The show lasts just under an hour and is full of performances by talented actors and musicians from Beaufort County.
The story focuses on finding the lost holiday cheer to save Christmas and features a cast of familiar characters with performances by Isabella Raig, Hannah Limbaugh, Eliza Torres, Rhynn Alligood, Sarabeth Franz, Cayden Cushing, Alex S., Holly Anglemyer, Haven Lebel, Lauren Roupe, Katherine Stewart and Daisy Barnette.
Both of these digital holiday performances can be enjoyed by visiting Arts of the Pamlico’s website and clicking on the ‘News’ tab.
