Washington police investigating armed robbery

The Washington Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at a financial services business on 15th Street.
According to a press release from the WPD, officers responded to OneMain Financial at 2009 W. 15th St. on Tuesday night, following a report of an armed robbery in which witnesses said two armed men entered the business and demanded money. Suspects took personal items from employees during the robbery, according to the press release. No shots were fired, and no one was injured.
The suspects are described as wearing black pants, black hooded coats and black masks. One of the suspects was described as a thin male who stood about 6 feet 3 inches tall, and the other suspect stood about 5 feet 9 inches tall. Both suspects fled on foot in the direction of the Maryanna Mobile Estates, which is located at 1660 W. 5th St.
