COVID-19 stats at a glance: Beaufort County records 2 deaths

Beaufort County’s COVID-19 death toll is now at 75 after two coronavirus-related deaths were reported Monday.
The county also reported 27 new cases of COVID-19, raising the total case count to 3,770. Five recoveries were reported, bringing the total amount of recoveries to 3,225. Health officials know of 465 active cases among Beaufort County residents. Eight of those individuals are hospitalized, and none of them are on a ventilator.
North Carolina reported 4,663 new cases and 25 coronavirus-related deaths. The state’s total amount of recoveries is 635,543.
Eastern North Carolina counties with total confirmed cases include: Bertie, (1,484), Beaufort (3,770), Bladen (2,481), Brunswick (6,202), Carteret (3,620), Camden (440), Chowan (1,150), Columbus (4,893), Craven (6,808), Currituck (1,039), Dare (1,609), Duplin (5,105), Edgecombe (3,864), Gates (508), Greene (1,876), Halifax (4,058), Hertford (1,739), Hyde (574), Jones (552), Lenoir (4,421), Martin (1,807), New Hanover (12,870), Northampton (1,441), Onslow (12,172), Pamlico (720), Pasquotank (2,576), Pender (3,979), Perquimans (727), Pitt (14,796) Sampson (5,946), Tyrrell (249) Washington (717), Wayne (8,877) and Wilson (7,157). Mecklenburg (82,572), Wake (61,709), Guilford (33,373) counties have the most cases.
