Northside High School celebrated its homecoming Friday night with a 38-20 victory over Riverside in Pinetown.

James Gorham led a punishing ground attack for the Panthers (4-1) with 160 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries. Mitch Godley also eclipsed the 100-yard mark with 112 yards rushing and a touchdown on 27 carries for Northside.
Tyler Modlin added 68 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Modlin also found the end zone on a reception from quarterback Keifer Boyd.
Northside kicker Chase Tomaini was perfect on five PATs and he also nailed an 18-yard field goal just before time expired in the first half.
Elijah Holloway intercepted a Riverside pass and Fred Taylor recorded a sack for the Northside defense.
