Lemonade Art Gallery is pleased to welcome Massachusetts-based potter Carolyn Daly Shedd as a featured artist at the gallery. Shedd began taking pottery lessons in 1995 and now instructs her own classes to adults and children. As a resident of Rexhame Beach in Marshfield, Massachusetts, many of her pieces are inspired by the ocean in some aspect and Shedd often utilizes shells and other items found along the beach for her pottery. Her works include wheel and hand thrown pieces of stoneware clay that focus on nautical details like rope borders, sea-inspired glazes and sea creatures like crabs and starfish placed on platters.
