BCSO makes fentanyl arrest

On 05/11/2022, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Jaquan Kinlaw, 26 years of age, of 3911 Hwy. 17 N. in Washington. Kinlaw was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Fentanyl a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Maintaining a Vehicle for the Purpose Keeping and Selling a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Carrying a Concealed Gun. Kinlaw’s arrest stemmed from Investigators investigating Kinlaw after receiving information that Kinlaw was involved in the distribution of pills containing Fentanyl. Investigators made purchases of pills containing said Fentanyl from Kinlaw. Investigators conducted a traffic stop on Kinlaw and conducted a search after K-9 Bodi alerted. Investigators found pills suspected to contain Fentanyl, marijuana packaged for resale, a digital scale and a 9mm Pistol. Kinlaw was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $15,000.00 secured bond.
