Mrs. Vernice Lee Ross Pope, age 52, a resident of 15 Asbury Trails Drive, Washington, died Sunday, July 17, 2011, at Beaufort County Medical Center. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at House of Prayer Deliverance Ministries. The family will receive friends at 425 Gladden St., Washington, and at the home.
