Whistle Express Car Wash held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday afternoon (Jan. 13) to celebrate its official opening on Thursday, Jan. 5. The ceremony was co-hosted by the car wash, City of Washington Mayor Donald Sadler and the Washington-Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce.
“We are so excited to welcome Whistle Express Car Wash to Washington. They have brought great excitement to our city, and it is wonderful to see new businesses open,” Mayor Donald Sadler said.
Located at 427 Bridge Street in Washington, the car wash unofficially opened on Monday, Dec. 12 with free car washes and discounts on wash plans. Whistle Express Car Wash is owned and operated by Magnolia Wash Holdings.
“In 2022, we achieved major expansion throughout our home state of North Carolina, and we’re elated to be kicking off the new year with this same vigor. Washington’s stunning coastal views have attracted more and more tourists over the years, but at the end of the day, this small suburban town is full of families just like us that we’re eager to serve,” Chris Stevens, Regional Operations Director at Magnolia Wash Holdings said in a press release. “We understand how tough having a busy schedule can be, which is why we’ve set out to create an effective and efficient express car wash solution for all. Our technology and service-focused teams help customers get in and out quickly while still receiving the ultimate Whistle treatment every time.”
Magnolia owns 88 active car washes in North Carolina including the new location in Washington.
